The Studebaker Hawk
The Studebaker company out of South Bend Indiana was known for its sedate but sturdy styling. It's low slung, sleek and eye catching styling caught the eye of many, including the automotive press which loved it. The Hawk name was branded to these coupes by the mid fifties and it continued successfully into production with some changes through the 1964 model year. Today, Studebaker is best known for the Hawk and later, the much applauded Avanti. Supercharged versions of these cars are rising in value as the buying public sees the value and contribution they made to the car industry.

1965 Chevy Corvair Monza Coupe
SPRING PRICE REDUCTION!
$20,900, BEAUTIFUL second generation Corvair. If you've been looking for a good one, look no more! These cars are becoming highly sought after and to find one this detailed and sorted is next to impossible. Everything has been done. Nothing left to do but drive, show off and enjoy.
1965 saw the first year of the redesign of the Corvair. It was acclaimed from day one by the automotive press. Arguably the best designed car of the 1960's. Bigger V8 cars were tough to compete with then that book by, you know, that Nader guy! Well, the Corvair fell out of favor to many by the 1970's. Nowadays they are making a come back and these 65-69 models are the ones most want.
This particular example is finished in an original shade of Mist Blue and has a matching blue bucket seat interior. All professionally restored. High quality paint, I'd say an 8.5 out of 10. Very nice clean chrome with accessory bumper guards and three prong wire wheel covers. Just a fantastic presentation.
Mechanically this Corvair has the optional, larger 110 HP flat six and that's mated to a bullet proof Powerglide automatic transmission. Mechanically this car has been fully serviced and maintained. New carburators from Wolf Enterprises with an electric fuel pump and electronic ignition. No mechanicals needs. A true turn key car.
Two of it's most recent owners were very fastidious. EVERYTHING in this car works as it should. Even going as far as replacing the dash light bulbs for fresh crisp lighting at night (Not an easy job!). The Custom Auto Sound AM/FM stereo works great and required no dashboard modification to install.
Bottom line here is that if you are looking for one of the best late model Corvair coupes on the market right now, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one. This car is currently located with it's current owner in the Ft Lauderdale Florida area. I'd be happy to put you in touch with him. We can also arrange transport without issue. 1953 Chrysler Windsor Club Coupe
$14,900. Beautiful Arctic Blue early 50's Mopar. You NEVER see these at shows. Everyone has a Chevy or a Ford. Be different with this super solid, super straight, rust free mid west Chrysler.
Accumulating a low 66,212 which is said to b original miles (We believe it!) this car spent most of it's 70 odd years in Nebraska. Even as part of a large and well known car collection there. Brought to Massachusetts just 3 so years ago. Note in the picture gallery the inspection sticker from 1973!
One well done, older repaint of it's original color. All original chrome and trim. Correct true spoke wheels add a touch of class to this entry level Chrysler. Mostly original interior with an almost perfect front floor mat and rear carpet (Correct and original.). Door panels, headliner, dash and rear seat are untouched and original. Still in terrific condition. It appears the front seat may have been professionally reupholstered at one point but very period correct.

1989 Chrysler TC By Maserati
$2,500. Here we have a real unicorn from Chrysler. A collaboration between Chrysler and Maserati to compete with the luxury roadsters from Europe like Mercedes and Jaguar. The end result wasn't well received as what Lee Iacocca and Alejandro De Tomaso had originally planned got delayed and watered down from the original plan. By the time this halo two seater was introduced, the J bodied Lebaron convertible had already been introduces and took styling cues from the TC that had not even been released yet. The MSRP of the TC was over $30K while the Lebaron was half that. That doesn't mean the TC was just an exact replica of the Lebaron because it wasn't. The TC rode on a shorter wheelbase, had sport tuned McPherson strut suspension and it's own, hand crafted leather interior right out of Italy. The seats are like sitting in a baseball glove. Nothing at all like the J body. These cars came FULLY equipped with just a CD changer as the only option. All had that cool, porthole removable hardtop and a manual folding soft top as standard as well.
Here we have a ONE OWNER, RUST FREE example. All the power accessories work which is rare for one of these. Windows, locks and seats. The original Infinity stereo and A/C do not function (very typical). The Exotic Red paint still gleams nicely but is not perfect. Minor chips and some panel fading here and there but sill extremely presentable as you can see. The interiors on these cars, although very luxurious, did not hold up well over time but this car did exceptionally well in that department with just some minor wear on the drivers bolster. The carpet and original floor mats are almost perfect. As is the stitched dashboard. It's as nice as I've seen in a long time. They were known to severely warp in the heat. This car had very obviously always been garaged.
1989 models came standard with the Chrysler 2.2 liter intercooled turbo engine. Similar to the one used on the Shelby Daytona from the same generation and had a reliable three speed automatic transmission. Not the problematic four speed that came along later. I believe the 89's are the best of the three model years (89-91). They have that cool steering wheel too. No ugly square airbag on this one.
So this car presents well. Completely rust free and extremely clean. There is a misfire at cylinder one which we suspect is a burnt exhaust valve or head gasket issue. Common back in the day on this engine. We are selling this one as is with no stories. It's a great car. Worth spending some time on. Priced to sell but we want to sell it to someone with some mechanical ability. Give this orphaned Chrysler a second chance!

1973 VW Karmann Ghia
HEADING TO AUTO HUNTER AUCTIONS. DETAILS SOON! This is a real unicorn of a car. Seems most of these have been poorly restored and maintained or very rusty, needing restoration. Also, it seems more convertibles got saved than coupes and this is one of the rare times I'll say, the coupe is the better looking of the two.
Here we have what is believed to be an honest 31,833 original mile car! Stipulated that way on the clean, Massachusetts title we hold for the car. An extensive and expensive (North of $10K) exterior refurbishment was performed just about 5 years ago. A PERFECT repaint of the original Zambese Green gleams like new. Nice original trim and emblems. Brand new, correct white wall tires and clean, straight bumpers (Painted black) round it off nicely. The exterior of this car is a show stopper!
The interior appears to be completely original but tired in places. The original carpet is all present but has fading and discoloration here and there. We cleaned it up quite a bit and there is room for more but deserves to be replaced with a correct reproduction. Seats are nice, no rips. Horse hair stuffing feels non-existent in the drivers seat bottom. I suspect new padding under the original covers. They are that good. Back storage area is a bit of a mystery. VW did not build these with back seats in 73-74 due to US seat belt regulations. This car has what appears to be an original back seat bottom only. I see some hinges behind that, that suggests maybe a small access door is missing? The panels and carpeting back there appear to be all completely original from 1973.
Now it gets even more fun! This car is equipped with a rare, semi-automatic transmission! A very easy to use clutchless manual shift setup. Basically just a two speed shift with a reverse and low gear also. All controlled by actuators and a torque converter. All of which I've been told was rebuilt and or replaced and it functions perfectly.
An extremely solid and clean body and undercarriage, showing it's low mileage claim. One small soft spot on the left front floor board about the size of a half dollar (see picture gallery). This is an extremely clean and straight body. You'll be impressed.
This car just emerged from a three year slumber. Starts and runs fantastic. Brand new battery. Has an electric fuel pump, ect. Runs and drives great. Brakes were completely replaced before it's slumber, the calipers are still shiny. Brake pedal is a little low however so a brake inspection and or bleed is probably in order. I'd like this to go to a VW enthusiast. Someone that understands the quirks of this car (and these are quirky cars!). I've priced this car accordingly. This is an AMAZING deal for the right person. Fully sorted, this car will easily be worth twice this asking.

1951 Pontiac Chieftain Sedan
$15,900. Simply sweet. This orphaned Pontiac is about as good as it gets for a 50's affordable cruiser. A not too distant restoration with a beautiful coat of it's original Star Mist Blue paint and topped off with a perfect two tone combination of Clair Blue. Incredibly eye catching! Add to that the expensively done rechroming of the front grille, nice clean, original bumpers and trimwork. Practically new (Less than 100 miles) correct wide white wall tires, that illuminating hood ornament and you'll be the talk of the car show circuit. They will assume you paid far more!
It gets even better inside with a completely restored interior. Seating, carpet, door panels and headliner. No expense spared there either. A very close match to the original and oh so early 1950's. The dashboard is original with almost perfect chrome everywhere.
A nicely equipped car too! Starting off with the reliable and sturdy Silver Streak straight 8 that runs like a sewing machine. That's mated to a Hydramatic automatic transmission so no clutching and shifting. Pontiac took care of that for you. A pushbutton AM radio (inop), electric clock, Heater/defroster, Outside spotlight and multitudes of courtesy lights (including the glove box and engine bay and both work!).
This was a clean, virtually rust free car before it's restoration so all panels are original, straight and clean. The undercarriage just the same. Incredibly clean! Sold new in PA with some of the new car paperwork still in the glovebox!
Made mechanically safe for regular driving with lots of new parts and maintenance performed. A new fuel pump, tank and lines. New brake master cylinder. Rebuilt transmission and rear shocks (New fronts are included in the box as well.). Just a fantastic driver. Only remaining issue is an inoperative speedometer. A new cable is installed but not connected as it needs some modifications. The only cable available for these cars is a universal one. That's literally it. Very turn key. Very reliable.

1964 Ford Ranchero
$24,900. Sold new in southern California and resided there until just two years ago! FACTORY V8 FOUR SPEED CAR!
Absolutely rust free, original sheet metal all around. No prior body work. Originally Cascade Green, it was recently repainted a 1966 Ford color called Tahoe Turquoise. Nicely done a 7.5 - 8 out of 10. Again, applied to a clean, original straight body. Nice time and chrome too.
Interior restored to close to original. Seat coverings, door panels and headliner. Factory floor mounted floor shifter, auxiliary gauges and a cool, retro dash mounted tach. The original radio and antenna are missing. A very clean presentation overall.
Lots and lots of upgrades. The original 260 V8 was rebuilt and built up to 292 ci. Front disc brakes were installed. Suspension reworked. A four barrel Holly carb and a new fuel tank. Undercarriage cleaned and detailed. No undercoat ever.
Runs fantastic. Perfect for a daily commute in nice weather. No leaks or issues. Very turn key. Hard to find in so many ways.

Ordered new by a Chrysler employee in Detroit. The only option he chose was the sport suspension package, oddly. This is the Highline model in it's most base form. It's a little known fact that the standard transmission on these cars then was a five speed manual one. VERY FEW left the factory that way. This is one of those. Power windows were standard equipment on the convertible and they all work like new (The generally troublesome rear 1/4 window motors and regulators were rebuild by a previous owner.).
Claret Red is what Chrysler called this color and it's one of the best available that year. The paint on this car gleams like it's new. Hardly a scratch to be found. This car is said to have never seen foul weather and certainly no snow. The interior is all original and in beautiful condition overall. The carpet is not soiled or faded at all. The top and rear glass window is BRAND NEW. A $2800 job!

Look at the list of repairs this car has had in the pics. A total of $8,400 was spent on maintenance since just 2022. This includes a timing belt and drive belts, tires, full exhaust, including the catalytic converter. Front axle CV shafts, Rear shocks. Engine mounts, clutch and tune up. The odometer stopped at 104K which is VERY typical of this generation Chrysler anything. The true mileage is around 110K.
This is probably the best J body Lebaron you can buy. Sure, there are others out there for less but not with this pedigree. They will ALL need what this car has already had done. Believe me. I say it a lot. Spend a little more up front and save a lot more later.

1964 Chevy Corvair Spyder Convertible
SALE PENDING... Be part of the cool Corvair crowd with this super clean, factory TURBOCHARGED convertible! I know from experience, when you show off any Corvair, the question everyone asks is, "Is it a Spyder?". Well you can absolutely answer YES to this one.
1964 was the pinnacle year for the early design Corvairs and the one many look for. Chevy added the transverse leaf spring to the rear suspension to quell the concerns brought up by the automotive press. Then later, our friend, Ralph that specifically poked fun at the 1960-1963 Corvair suspension design.
Here we have a fantastic example. Beautifully and professionally restored at some point within the last 10-20 years and used as a show car ever since. Finished in rarely seen Saddle Tan Metallic, the original color for this car according to the data plate (Shown in the picture gallery.). A very nice, matching bucket seat interior compliments it very well. I only recall ever seeing a couple of these in this combination. It's quite stunning. The paint is in fantastic condition and shines like new. A small chip on the right rear fender top and a couple of small bubbles on the left door can be seen in the picture gallery but that's it. It's a great presentation overall.

The black convertible top appears BRAND NEW and is manually operated and works smoothly. A boot cover is included as well. Car passes Massachusetts safety inspection with no issues and has brand new front ball joints installed. Tires are correct and have very few miles on them. They are about 2 years old.
Runs and drives great. No real issues other than typical Corvair stuff. A tad hard starting after sitting overnight. A drip of oil here and there as you'd expect but nothing that needs immediate attention or any attention at all. I sell old cars for a living. They ALL have their little idiosyncrasies. Corvairs in particular are a but fussy at times. I sell a lot of these little cars. They are a blast to own. There is a very dedicated support group out there for them and they are growing in popularity and value. Just know you need to find those who know these cars. Your average mechanic might not want to touch it. They are different. That's to me, why they are so special!

1964 was the pinnacle year for the early design Corvairs and the one many look for. Chevy added the transverse leaf spring to the rear suspension to quell the concerns brought up by the automotive press. Then later, our friend, Ralph that specifically poked fun at the 1960-1963 Corvair suspension design.
Here we have a fantastic example. Beautifully and professionally restored at some point within the last 10-20 years and used as a show car ever since. Finished in rarely seen Saddle Tan Metallic, the original color for this car according to the data plate (Shown in the picture gallery.). A very nice, matching bucket seat interior compliments it very well. I only recall ever seeing a couple of these in this combination. It's quite stunning. The paint is in fantastic condition and shines like new. A small chip on the right rear fender top and a couple of small bubbles on the left door can be seen in the picture gallery but that's it. It's a great presentation overall.

The black convertible top appears BRAND NEW and is manually operated and works smoothly. A boot cover is included as well. Car passes Massachusetts safety inspection with no issues and has brand new front ball joints installed. Tires are correct and have very few miles on them. They are about 2 years old.
Runs and drives great. No real issues other than typical Corvair stuff. A tad hard starting after sitting overnight. A drip of oil here and there as you'd expect but nothing that needs immediate attention or any attention at all. I sell old cars for a living. They ALL have their little idiosyncrasies. Corvairs in particular are a but fussy at times. I sell a lot of these little cars. They are a blast to own.
